Teddy Weldon Groves of Layton will celebrate his 80th birthday.?He was born on March 14, 1930, in Highway Highlands, Calif., to Teddy William and Mildred Laverne Jackson Groves.?He married Arline Catmull on May 5, 1951. Their vows were solemnized in The Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints Ogden Temple in 1978.?He served in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed at Fairchild Air Force Base near Spokane, Wash., and Hill Air Force Base, where he retired.?He has lived in Layton since 1956.?His children are Sharon Anderson, Jan Groves, Gary Groves, and Kevin and Michelle Groves.?He has nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.?
