Velma O. Thompson will be honored for her 97th birthday. Friends and family are welcome to attend an open house hosted by her family from 2 to 4 p.m. today, March 14, at the Pioneer Care Center, 815 S. 200 West, Brigham City. No formal invitations were sent.?She was born on March 14, 1913, and is the mother of 12 children.
