Alvera Olsen White of Harrisville, formerly of Brigham City, will be honored at an open house to celebrate her 90th birthday. Today she is a representative of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers.?She married Robert “Bob” Joseph White on May 1, 1937. Their vows were later solemnized in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Logan Temple. He died in October 1985.?Her children and spouses are Beverley W. Ewing, Harrisville; Dallas R. and Suzanne White, Sam Ramon, Calif.; and Randy D. White, Hyrum.?She is an active member of the LDS Church and has fulfilled many callings throughout her life. She says she has stayed 90 years “young” by keeping many dear associations with friends, traveling, baking (especially peanut brittle), and most important, finding daily joy in

her family.
