Mark and Sheila Wilkinson of Morgan will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. Family and friends may attend an open house from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sept. 30 at the Mountain Green Church on Old Highway Road.?Married Sept. 30, 1961, their vows were later solemnized in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Logan Temple. Both were born in Ogden, grew up in Morgan, attended Morgan schools, and graduated together.?He has built several businesses: Browning Mink Ranch, Wilkinson Dairy Farm, Artic Cat, Katco Snowmobile and Racing Team, Wilkinson Supply Lawn and Garden, Wilkinson Campground Recreation Park, and now works for Mountain Green Cemetery.?She has been a stay-at-home mom for their 12 children. She spent 30 years serving in church and recreation sports programs for the youth, and in Relief Society and Young Women’s presidencies. They teach temple preparation class. They worked for many years in the Democratic Political Party. They served a mission in Ghana, Africa, enjoying the people and culture, and served as temple ordinance workers in Atlanta, Ghana and Ogden. They have traveled around the world. Now they spend time camping with their children and 43 grandchildren, and use their GPS to find yard sales on the weekends.?Their children and spouses are Lynn and Darrell Stevenson, Chris and Sandy Wilkinson, Dixie and Gary Kendell, Matt and Kathy Wilkinson, Becky and Mitch Geddes, Kate and Nate Nielson, Heidi and Sean Dorius, Jesse and Jeanne Wilkinson, Paul and Britney Wilkinson, Danny and Kimber Wilkinson, Ally and Tyler Archibald, and Luke and Kenna Wilkinson.
