How to help make Addie’s final wish come true this Christmas
FOUNTAIN GREEN, Utah — A 6-year-old southern Utah girl has captured the hearts of a nation with her Christmas wish.
Her family would like to fill their home with a “lifetime of Christmas cards” this year. Addie’s wish is getting a lot of attention nationally because this will, perhaps, be her last according to doctors. An atrophy of her brain has left medical professionals puzzled. In the face of this devastating news, her family created a Facebook page and came up with the idea of asking people to send “Little Addie” a “lifetime of Christmas cards.”
Cards can be mailed to: Addie Lynn and Sisters, P.O. Box 162, Fountain Green, Utah. 84632.
To add to the family’s grief, Addie’s father died last week. Below are a couple posts from Facebook showing the love and support that has poured out for Addie and her family.

Addie was featured on NBC’s Today Show Friday. Donations are being taken at Children and the Earth.
A note from Addie’s grandmother states that doctors still have yet to fully understand her condition, but but they do know that her brain is basically shrinking and filling with fluid (diffuse atrophy). This is causing her loss of motor skills.
“If I were to be granted one Christmas wish that would be to help Addie and her family have a Christmas that will hold memories to last a lifetime. The family has been told that we will lose ADDIE (age 6) mentality, before physically. She will forget them and the things she knows.”
“Every morning the they (the family) pray that she hasn’t forgotten them in her sleep. This will be Addie’s last Christmas. We are asking everyone to send a Christmas card to Addie. She has 2 sisters, (7) Audree, (10) Shayley. Please SHARE this post with the world!!! Let’s send ADDIE a LIFETIME of Christmas Cards. Enough to cover every wall in her house. Let your children draw pictures. Ask their class and church. Fire Men, Police, Every one!”
