Winter Market by Farmers Market Ogden

It’s the last Saturday of six weeks of “supporting local growers, makers, businesses and more,” the Winter Market hosted by Farmers Market Ogden at the historic Ogden Union Station. Attendees can find fresh local produce, prepared foods and artisan goods at the Saturday market and enjoy live music and free community yoga at 10 a.m. Farmers Market Ogden is an authorized EBT/SNAP provider. Check Facebook and Instagram (@FarmersMarketOgden) weekly for the full lineup of musicians, performers, vendors and more.

Saturday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Ogden Union Station, 2501 Wall Ave.; free; facebook.com/farmersmarketogden.

LAND BODY Yoga

If you love art and yoga, double dip into both at this unique community offering inside Ogden Contemporary Arts Center on Saturday. Kelly Carper, curator of the OCA winter exhibit “LAND BODY,” will give a brief intro to the show — an exploration of the connections between the human body and its landscapes from the perspectives of 11 female-identifying artists — followed by an all-levels, hour-long yoga session inspired by the “LAND BODY” exhibit led by Stephanie DeTar from The Lotus Cafe, Yoga Studio and Shop.

Saturday, 10:15 a.m.; OCA Center, 455 25th St.; $15 donation; ogdencontemporaryarts.org.

‘Nunsense’

Weber State Theater presents one of the biggest off-Broadway musical hits in history at the Eccles Theatre starting this weekend. “Nunsense,” which opened in 1985 and ran for 10 years, is about the surviving nuns of Hoboken who start a variety show to raise money to bury the sisters they lost after a food poisoning tragedy and end up giving the performance of a lifetime. The “show-stopping musical revue is filled with song and dance, laughter, and characters so quirky they’re almost heavenly,” reads the event page. Director Andrew Barratt Lewis expects tickets to sell out early for the family-friendly production. “This show is always extremely well-received and our theater is small,” he said.

Friday and Saturday and March 2-5, 7:30 p.m. (Saturday matinees at 2 p.m.); The Eccles Theater, 3950 W. Campus Drive; $15/$12 students and children/$10 groups of 10 or more; weberstatetickets.com.

Black & White Competition Exhibit

The juried exhibition of artwork from Eccles Art Center’s 18th Black & White Statewide Competition is open to the public through Saturday in the Main Gallery. The biennial competition was open to recently-made, original works by Utah artists in most mediums. All works are black, white and/or shades of gray. Winners were announced at the exhibit opening during the February First Friday Art Stroll in Ogden. The public is invited to visit the Eccles Art Center and Carriage House Gallery during regular gallery hours to see the art pieces.
