The intersection of 25th Street and Ogden Avenue features new upcoming events that are perfect to kick off your 2022 Pride Month.

Thursday, June 2, at 7 p.m., The Monarch will hold Ogden’s first Queer Prom for ages 21 or older. The event, sponsored by UTOG Brewery and Ogden Pride, will have food, drinks, raffles, dancing and “prom queers.” Tickets are available for $25 and can be purchased at the door or through the links available on The Monarch’s social media pages and the “25th and Ogden” Instagram page. $5 dollars of each ticket purchase will be donated to Project Rainbow, a non-profit organization and each ticket holder will be entered into a drawing to win a special prize from one of the event sponsors. There will be an after party at Lighthouse Lounge.

Saturday, June 4, at 7 p.m., WB’s Eatery, located in The Monarch, will have their recurring Saturday “Sippin’ Pretty” drag event, hosted by Utah drag queen, Sequoia. Tickets are available through the links on WB’s Eatery’s social media pages. “Each week you’ll find something different at Sippin’ Pretty. Special guest hosts, co-hosts, musical guests, variety acts, burlesque and more!” the ticket description states. Reserved tickets are $15 per seat and must be purchased as whole tables. Walk-in seats will be available on the patio, so long as weather permits.

Sunday, June 5, WB’s Eatery will have their “Wigs and Brunch” event, which takes place the first Sunday of each month. June’s Pride themed-show begins at 11 a.m., with seating at 10:30 a.m. Hosted by Sequoia and featuring a morning drag event, Wigs and Brunch is the perfect mix of entertainment and a delicious brunch to end your first exciting week of this year’s Pride Month in Ogden.
