OGDEN — Washington Boulevard, Historic 25th Street and, recently, the Newgate Mall have become synonymous with the First Friday Art Stroll.

But as a press release from Ogden City Arts points out for May’s iteration — set for 6-9 p.m. on Friday — there are always new locations popping up.

“Ogden City’s First Friday Art Stroll continues to grow, with new venues regularly joining the lineup,” the release said. “Many local artists have made their debut at the stroll, showcasing their very first exhibits and finding a supportive audience here in our community. We’re proud to feature fresh talent while celebrating established creatives, together building a vibrant downtown arts scene.”

This month will include a pop up at the Marshall N. White Community Center from 5:30-9:30 p.m.

The release also highlights two participating tattoo studios, including Alchemy Tattoo Studio at 119 25th Street.

“I make things. Art, videos, styled outfits, upcycled finds,” Gisella Munoz said in the release. “I’m a mixed-media artist working in pen, colored pencil, and texture: yarn, paint, whatever the piece needs. My work lives at the intersection of the internal & external: meditations, shifts, decisions, the moments that change how you see yourself. I was born in Ecuador, grew up in Utah, and I’m about to move to Spain! Every piece I make is part of how I move through the world with new eyes.”

Historic Tattoo Studio at 171 25th Street will also be a stop.

“I’m Dave, a local Ogden tattooer,” Dave Carter of Historic Tattoo Studio said in the release. “I like bikes, burgers, and beer. I’ll be selling some art, prints, and, of course, tattoos for the First Friday Art Stroll and any other day. Walk on in, and let’s make your tattoo dreams come true.”
