OGDEN — April’s First Friday Art Stroll is set to be a packed one.

This Friday’s Art Stroll, set for 6-9 p.m., is set to feature two new locations and an appearance by Ogden’s poet laureate, Angelika Brewer.

According to a press release on this week’s event, the first new stop is Happy Magpie Book & Quill in its new location on 27th Street.

“Happy Magpie will be exhibiting work written during Write Club, our bookshop’s weekly writing group,” the release said. “Join us for a night of celebrating local writers and the magic and mischief that occurs when they gather. Stand among the stanzas. Peruse the prose. Meet the writers.”

The Mercantile also will be serving as a new stop on the stroll.

“For our first event we are featuring Kiana’s Heart and Brandy Boyett,” the release said. “The theme for this evening is ‘The Heart Of.'”

Additionally, the Corner will be hosting Brewer in celebration of one year of submissions with Ogden’s Mailbox, a community project through which the public can share their personal creative works.
