OGDEN — Ogden area teachers are set to be recognized during the November First Friday Art Stroll.

According to a press release from Ogden City Arts, Culture & Events, November’s First Friday Art Stroll — set for 6-9 p.m. on Friday in downtown Ogden — teachers will be a focus at one of the stops.

“Union Station’s Myra Powell Gallery is showcasing teachers,” the release said. “Weber and Ogden School District teachers have their art on display. It’s always fun to teach but now it’s a fabulous way for students to see their teachers work up in an exhibit.”

The release adds that this is the second year for the Teacher Art Show.

See what our local teachers can do, with unique and engaging artwork in a variety of forms,” the release said. “Learn more about each of them, their backgrounds, and their creative endeavors through their artist biographies on display at the show. This special show is always a huge hit.”
