‘The Intern,’ ‘Everest’ among new DVD releases

”Straight Outta Compton” — Rated R for language throughout, strong sexuality/nudity, violence and drug use. IMDb says, “The group NWA emerges from the mean streets of Compton in Los Angeles, California, in the mid-1980s and revolutionizes hip hop culture with their music and tales about life in the hood.” 2 hours, 27 minutes.

”The Intern” — Rated PG-13 for some suggestive content and brief strong language. IMDb says, “70-year-old widower Ben Whittaker has discovered that retirement isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. ”Everest” — Rated PG-13 for intense peril and disturbing images. IMDb says, “A climbing expedition on Mt. Everest is devastated by a severe snow storm.” 2 hours, 1 minute.

”Woodlawn” — Rated PG for thematic elements including some racial tension/violence. IMDb says, “A gifted high school football player must learn to embrace his talent and his faith as he battles racial tensions on and off the field.” 2 hours, 3 minutes.
