OGDEN — Prefer your winter sports a little more … powered?

A snowmobile action film will be screened this weekend in downtown Ogden.

“Alpine Assassins — The Best of AA — A Tribute to Luke Rohde” will be shown at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, in Peery’s Egyptian Theater, 2415 Washington Blvd.

Alpine Assassins is a snowmobile movement involving a group of riders who go in search of hill-climbing, cliff-dropping and deep-powder boondocking. The action pic looks at the group’s antics over the past 10 years.

The best-of film is a tribute to Alpine Assassins teammate Luke Rohde. The 27-year-old was killed in an avalanche this past March while sledding in the Mt. Baker National Recreation Area in Washington.

Tickets are $10, available through smithstix.com or at 801-689-8700.
