The 6th Annual Lady Wild Film Festival returns Saturday for its one-night gathering that celebrates women and the outdoors through a series of short films, raffle giveaways and a variety of food from local vendors.

The film festival is hosted by AndShesDopeToo, an Ogden-based worldwide adventure collective for women that hosts seasonal retreats and “rendezvous” designed to be free of competition or comparisons so women of all ages and skill levels can feel comfortable and safe.

All ladies and their “gents” and kids are welcome to attend the film festival, which features strong female leads or characters in a variety of short films from all over the world. The films are appropriate for all ages and promise heart-warming messages, adrenaline rushes and “deep belly laughs.”

The films that will be screened include “I Am Capable,” about a Muslim hiking group that goes wild swimming for the first time; a snowboarding film,”Facets”; “Dreams,” about highlining that was filmed in Cotton Canyon; and “Resilience,” about a woman who sets out to overcome cancer on Costa Rica’s highest mountain.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m., one hour before the films begin, to purchase raffle tickets and enjoy local food and beverages.

During intermission, raffle prizes from local businesses Talisman Brewing, Brookey Bakes, Recreation Outlet, Cuppa, Grounded Soul Wellness, Ogden’s Own Distillery, Scott James Jewelry, Windy’s Sukiyaki, Beehive Naturals and more will be presented.

“The purpose of this festival is to rally around women in film who are pushing the boundaries of understanding, adventure, and sisterhood in their daily lives,” AndShesDopeToo stated.

Lady Wild Film Festival is Saturday at Ogden High School. Films start at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $15.
