Davis Arts Council’s Sunday concerts to spotlight Utah acts

The Davis Arts Council free Sunday Night Concert Series at the Kenley Amphitheater begins June 4, 2023.LAYTON — The 12 spots for the Davis Arts Council free Sunday Night Concert Series have been chosen — and they are all Utah locals.
Executive Director Tessa Vaschel said over 150 artists applied for the 12 spots this year.
“There is so much talent in the state of Utah and we have been able to showcase local artists like these for the last 44 years through this series,” Vaschel said. “It was difficult to narrow it down.”
Concerts begin at 7 p.m. Seating at the Kenley Amphitheater is first come, first served.
The lineup:
- June 4 — Pompe n’ Honey
- June 11 — Beck Brothers
- June 18 — The Ginger Bess Band
- June 25 — Cori Connors
- July 2 — Voices of Liberty
- July 9 — Clayton Smalley
- July 16 — Basin and Grange
- July 23 — Vocalocity
- July 30 — Guy Richey Gibbons
- Aug. 6 — Halau Ku Pono I Kamalani
- Aug. 13 — The Distractions
- Aug. 20 — Benny C Quartet
- Aug. 27 — Chrome Street Quartet
