The Flaming Lips kicked off the 2018 Ogden Twilight Concert Series with a show at the Ogden Amphitheater on Thursday, June 7, 2018.

The Ogden Twilight concert series and Davis Arts’ Summer Nights with the Stars are both returning in 2024, with shows running from May to September at the Ogden Amphitheater and Layton’s Kenley Amphitheater, respectively; and organizers just dropped their biggest updates yet on this year’s lineups.

Following the announcement earlier this month that Metric and Phoenix would kick off Ogden Twilight on May 16, a veritable bonanza of information about other dates and participating acts was released via social media Thursday morning.

“Last year was our ‘We’re going to cry together’ lineup. This year is our ‘We’re going to dance together!!’ lineup,” a post on the Ogden Twilight Facebook page reads. “We’re still suckers for sad songs… these ones just happen to have dance beats over them.”

It was noted in the post that Tycho was slated to perform previously before being canceled amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, Broken Social Scene was forced to end a set early due to lightning strikes when the band was last here.

Now, both acts are on the lineup for 2024, joining the likes of Diplo, multi-Grammy winner St. Vincent, Killer Mike — who won the awards for best rap song, best rap performance and best rap album at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards in February — and more.

Although the act(s) performing at a show scheduled for Aug. 23 will be revealed at a later date, the remainder of the series is scheduled as follows:

  • May 16: Phoenix/Metric
  • June 22: Cannons/Washed Out
  • July 5: Ben Böhmer/Tinlicker
  • July 6: Diplo/Gioli & Assia
  • Aug. 8: Killer Mike & The Mighty Midnight Revival/Hippo Campus
  • Aug. 14: St. Vincent/Eartheater
  • Aug. 29: Thievery Corporation/Dirtwire
  • Sept. 6: Broken Social Scene
  • Sept. 13: Tycho

Acts like Beastie Vee, Die Shiny, Alex Cruz, Sootah and Harpers also will be spotlighted throughout the series.

Advance tickets are available for $15 plus fees, while day-of-show tickets are $20 plus fees — with the exception of the May 16 and July 6 shows, which are $25. Season passes can be purchased as well. Individual tickets go on sale Friday.

  • June 26: Tusk – The World’s #1 Tribute to Fleetwood Mac
  • July 9: Americana Women
  • July 13: Pixie & The Partygrass Boys
  • July 18: Straight No Chaser
