‘Urinetown’ brings its punny humor to Washington Terrace

By Standard-Examiner Staff - | Feb 21, 2019

WASHINGTON TERRACE — Think the drought is bad here in Utah?

Try living in a place called Urinetown.

The satirical musical comedy “Urinetown” opens Friday at Terrace Plaza Playhouse, 99 E. 4700 South.

The musical tells the story of a city attempting to regulate water consumption by outlawing the use of private toilets. The citizens must use public pay toilets, owned and operated by the evil Urine Good Company.

According to a playhouse news release: “For those who don’t want to think so deeply, the musical itself is hilarious and will keep audiences laughing at its punny humor.”

The show runs at 7:30 p.m. Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays through April 6. Tickets are $10 to $17, available through www.terraceplayhouse.com or 801-393-0070.
