It’s official winter is here
While snow fell after a minor ice storm on Dec. 19, accumulations continued into the following days. A record amount of snow was recorded in nearby Salt Lake City for that date at the international airport there. Snow removal crews at Hill AFB worked to clear runways and roads at the base and the scenery around Hill took a turn for the white.
