Representatives from several breweries offered at the Oktoberfest participant at the event held Sept. 12 at Centennial Park. Patrons got the opportunity to sample various microbrews from various vendors with the purchase of tickets. The weather cooperated and attendees enjoyed pleasant late summer temperatures and a chance to visit with old friends and make new acquaintances as they tasted the various offerings and chose food items from vendors. A DJ spun tunes to add to the festive atmosphere.
