General receives ‘Honor Salute’

By Staff | Feb 24, 2017

Retired General Robert C. Oaks, formerly U.S. Air Forces in Europe commander, receives a salute from Airmen at the Hill Aerospace Museum, Feb. 14. The Honor Salute Program was started in 2016 by Community Nursing Services Home Care and Hospice, in partnership with the ROTC programs at the University of Utah and Brigham Young University, and active-duty military, reservists and veterans. The Honor Salute Program is a simple but powerful tribute of appreciation for the veteran’s service to our country. The salute gives peace, pride and closure to veterans while bringing together family and friends to celebrate their loved one’s service.
