The 75th Air Base Wing Security Forces Squadron recently “kidnapped” the buffalo statue in front of the 75th Air Base Wing headquarters building here and gave him a new, distinctly “cop” paint job. The right to “beautify” the buffalo belongs to the unit awarded 75th Air Base Wing Team of the Year. The buffalo is now decked out with a blue stripe from nose to tail, signifying respect for peace officers, paw prints from the K-9 flight, logos to acknowledge civilian and Combat Arms officers, as well as a list of names of Air Force Security Forces members who were killed in combat.
