Civilian Achievement Medal

The Civilian Achievement Medal was awarded to members of the Heavy Mobile Equipment Mechanic team, Transporter Erector programmed depot maintenance, 581st Missile Maintenance Squadron, 309th Missile Maintenance Group, Ogden Air Logistics Complex, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, which exhibited outstanding performance, professional competence, and ceaseless efforts of the heavy mobile equipment mechanic team resulted in unprecedented performance in the transporter erector programmed depot maintenance by Maj. Gen. H. Brent Baker Sr., OO-ALC commander. Their unwavering dedication piloted the reduction of maintenance flow days from an all-time high of 303 to a sustained performance of 120 for 5 transporter erectors in a row from July 17, 2012 to Sept. 10 2013. These superior efforts marked the first ‘Art of the Possible’ results within the complex and ensured operational units remained above emergency war order levels.
