HILL AIR FORCE BASE — Air Force ROTC cadets from Utah State University recently visited Hill Air Force Base to gain a greater understanding of the Air Force while introducing them to a variety of career fields.

During their visit, they got the chance to visit 75th Security Forces Squadron military working dogs, 775th Civil Engineer Squadron Explosive Ordnance Disposal Flight, the 649th Munitions Standard Air Munitions Package facility, and the F-35 maintenance facilities and flight line.

Cadet Trevor Howe, one of the cadets, said it broadened his horizons on how the Air Force operates as a total force.

“It is amazing to see how the mission of one unit can affect the Air Force as a whole.” said Howe. “My favorite part of the visit was seeing the military working dogs.”

The trip was planned by Hill’s Company Grade Officer Council to adhere to COVID-19 mitigation guidelines.

Starting at $4.32/week.
