Earlier this month, the Standard-Examiner stopped publishing daily mug shots of individuals booked into the Weber County jail. Jail logs had been sent to the Standard-Examiner daily via email; however, Weber County experienced technical issues after changing to a new record management system in the first week of March and has been unable to send any jail logs since then.

The system change also disabled access to the county’s current jail roster. Weber County Sheriff’s Office said at the time its IT department is working to resolve both issues, at which time we will resume publishing jail mugs.
