The full Northern Utah calendar of events is on L4, but here are three local events you should check out this week:

1. Ogden Twilight Concert Series – Band of Horses

Ogden Amphitheater, Ogden, July 30, 5-10 p.m.

Ogden’s premiere concert series continues with Seattle rock group Band of Horses, supported by Blind Pilot and Wet World. “This is very much a bucket list booking for us. They’ve been on our wishlist for a full 10 years! So glad we could finally make it work!!” reads a post on Ogden Twilight’s Facebook page.

2. Morgan County Fair

Morgan County Fairgrounds, Morgan, July 26-Aug. 2, 10 a.m.

Dubbed “the biggest little fair in Utah,” this annual event aims “to celebrate our community and traditions through engaging livestock events, family-friendly activities, and showcasing the talents of local residents and youth.” Featured events include the RMPRA Rodeo, a parade, a pickleball tournament, Puzzle Mania and the Pistol Annie Competition.

3. Water Lantern Festival

Jensen Nature Park, Syracuse, Aug. 2, 6 p.m.

According to the event website, “Water Lantern Festival is an incredible experience where you, your friends, and your family will create a magical memory together. It can be a very emotional experience, writing down some of your hope and dreams, or a letter to a loved one, and then sending it out into the water. At Water Lantern Festival, we cherish these moments and will do our best to help you have an memorable experience that you’ll never forget.”
