The full Northern Utah calendar of events is on L4, but here are three local events you should check out this week:
1. NUHOPE Suicide Awareness Walk
Ogden Amphitheater, Sept. 20, 10 a.m.-noon
From the NUHOPE event website: “Join us in the Ogden Amphitheater for a short program where we remember those we’ve lost to suicide. We will have a moment of silence and the bagpipers will join us again this year to help us start our walk. Come get your NUHOPE T-shirt, featuring a new design for 2025. Free shirts will be given out on a first come, first serve basis. Visit our memorial wall where you can share a memory or write a message of hope. Grab your beads, representing who you will be walking for this year. And visit other community resource booths for helpful information.”

2. Atlanta Rhythm Section & Pure Prairie League

Kenley Amphitheater, Layton, Sept. 13, 8-10 p.m.
It will be another unforgettable night of music at the Kenley amphitheater as a pair of great bands take the stage and fill the night with their amazing sounds. From the concert website: “Get ready for a legendary double bill! See Atlanta Rhythm Section and Pure Prairie League live, two iconic bands with timeless hits and electrifying performances. Don’t miss this unforgettable celebration of music’s rich legacy!”

3. The Cardboard Expo Exchange
Golden Spike Arena Exhibit Hall, Ogden, Sept. 13-14, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.
Everyone who loves memorabilia and cards will want to be in Ogden for the big event, put on the by The Cardboard Exchange TCG. It’s mission, according to the website, is to: “create a vibrant community for trading card game enthusiasts. We aim to provide an inclusive platform where players of all ages and backgrounds can connect, trade, and discover new games. What started as a hobby, quickly turned into a dream come true for the owners, Jesus and Juan. As avid collectors themselves, Jesus and Juan understand the thrill of trading and collecting cards, ripping packs, getting the long-awaited grade on a high value card, and competing in local tournaments.”
