The Conversation: Down the rabbit hole

Letroy WoodsThe mind of a child is born free and explores without disbelief of past regrets or choices, sees themselves in a light that radiates abroad, and has not yet submitted to the voice within that is the destruction of worlds. The rabbit hole grows from hindered guidance and influence of the mind and heart. To understand the depths of the hole requires one to obtain residency in observation, to acknowledge oneself, and absolute ownership for possession of power. Have you ever had a dream that upon awaking it was hard to distinguish between what is real and what is not?
Reality is exclusive to its beholder and is no judge as long as it is being fed . The suggestive powers of outside forces and the mind, combined with the proposals of our feelings, offers to the imagination a never-never fantasy land that few escape from. The truth is the foundation and the constant because it is the GPS out of the darkness. Your mind is wandering right now into other realms other than the one that is right in front of you. The complex idea that we are not our thoughts and feelings may be too much to grasp for now.
In silence discovery is revealed. Through the practice of silence we can observe the judgments of the age-old psyche with its trickery. We all fall for the smoke and mirrors in our veil of the mind’s blindness. Human beings have been gifted with something that no other species has, and that is the ability to choose. Choice is our greatest weapon and power while navigating in this world.
As long as we are breathing there is never a situation or adversity that can ever take away our ability to create any destination that we can hold in our mind. Wandering into the depths of our minds we are greeted by what seems to be an ally to help us in our time of need, rather, suggestions are offered that insinuate truth while leading us further into the dark. The voices are often subtle whispers and feelings that make assumptions of knowing, but their proposals do not have to be met with agreement.
The rabbit hole is to not be feared. Allowing movement through the disorder of thoughts without engagement will build mental and emotional strength. Not acting on the first feeling or thought that comes your way will uncover the nature of the suggestion and investigate all intentions.
Close your eyes and observe the thoughts of the mind and the feelings of the body without placing any judgment or criticism. What is being suggested and what do you notice?
The conversations that make up our lives are ours and ours alone to guide and influence. Surrounding ourselves around the right environments, minds, and hearts will guide us through the rabbit holes. We will all experience the noise and chaos of the mind, but by allowing ourselves to learn in this space will help for the next time the suggestions come.
The conversation is the place where we live and dwell, and there is no escape from the conversation but through death.
