OGDEN — Marathoners can once again join Ogden’s race day in-person on May 21, 2022. Registration is now open for the Ogden Marathon. The annual event, produced by the GOAL Foundation, was modified to a virtual run for the past two seasons due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Local guidelines surrounding COVID-19 are being implemented to ensure the safety of all participants, volunteers, vendors and spectators.

A refund option as well as a virtual run will be available should the race be canceled due to COVID-19. Any updates on the Ogden Marathon will be posted on social media at Ogden Marathon Experience Facebook group and Instagram. For more information or questions regarding registration, email admin@goalfoundation.com.

The Striders Winter Circuit is a training series offered to all  participants to help prepare for race day. Training involves five races, each two weeks apart, with increasing distances. Ogden Marathon Team advises those interested in participating to register now for the best price.

A new 12K distance has been added to the 2022 race and is limited to 500 spots. Participants who wish to  upgrade to a VIP experience will receive a swag bag, VIP coach bus to the start line, pre-race continental breakfast and a 15-minute massage after the race. VIP registration provides a tax-deductible donation to help fund the GOAL Foundation’s Youth Runners Program.

The Goal Foundation’s mission is to inspire the greater Ogden community and its visitors to Get Out and Live by participating, volunteering and spectating at recreational events, programs and activities.
