The full northern Utah calendar of events is on L4, but here are three local events you should check out this week:

1. Bulls, Broncs and Bands featuring Chancey Williams

Spencer Fox Eccles Pioneer Stadium, Ogden, July 18, 6:30 p.m.

From the Ogden Pioneer Days: “Ogden Pioneer Days is adding an extra dose of adrenaline to Utah’s biggest rodeo celebration with a one-night-only event: Bulls, Broncs & Bands. On Friday, July 18, we’re kicking off Pioneer Days week with a rough stock-only rodeo and a full-scale concert event–all in the same night! This special night ends with a full concert performance from Chancey Williams, one of country music’s fastest-rising entertainers”

For complete details, go to ogdenpioneerdays.com.

2. Farmington Festival Days Rotary Car Show

One of the fascinating ways to look at history is to spend some time at a car show, which showcases automobiles from various different eras and displays people’s passion for their vehicles. This week, the place to do that is at Farmington Festival Days and the Rotary Car Show, which will feature cars, trucks, motorcycles and more. Proceeds from the event go to Cares for Kids Project. If you are in the area, be sure to check out the parade and the evening events at Forbush Park.

For more information, go to farmington.utah.gov.

3. Spartan Trifecta Weekend

Snowbasin Resort, Huntsville, July 12-13, 7 a.m.-9 p.m.

From Spartan Races: “Experience the thrill of a Trifecta Weekend at Mount Ogden, a former venue of the 2002 Winter Olympics. Tackle technical terrain, muscle through grueling obstacles, and conquer a 3,000-foot vertical climb, all while soaking in breathtaking views that momentarily make you forget the challenge. After the race, unwind with a scenic gondola ride and indulge in world-class dining to celebrate your achievements.”
