Santa jets in for wing holiday party

By Senior Airman Justin Fuchs, 419th Fighter Wing Public Affairs - | Dec 14, 2017

HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah — Santa Claus ditched his reindeer and arrived in high-tech fashion, jetting in on an F-35 Lightning II to visit reservists and their families during the 419th Fighter Wing’s annual holiday party in Hangar 37.

Santa, played by wing commander Col. David Smith, met with Airmen, greeted families, and delivered gifts to children of the more than 1,200 reservists who serve in the 419th FW each month.

Festivities lasted all afternoon and included snacks, crafting stations, bounce houses, and holiday music.
