FARMINGTON — Beth Johnston has been chosen as the first principal at Endeavour Elementary in Kaysville, which is scheduled to open this August.?Johnston has served as principal at East Layton Elementary.?The Davis School Board has also announced the retirement of four principals. They are Lucinda Wagner, Mountain View Elementary, Layton; Kathy Scott, Wasatch Elementary, Clearfield; Cleve Dibble, Kaysville Elementary; and Jean Parkin, Adelaide, Bountiful. ?New principals for these four schools will be announced at a future time.?The board also made the following changes in principal assignments:?• Jody Schaap, currently the principal of Antelope Elementary, will serve as principal at East Layton Elementary.?• Gwen Hill, currently the principal of Orchard Elementary, will serve as principal of Antelope Elementary.?• Don Beatty, currently the principal of Sunset Elementary, will serve as principal of Mountain View Elementary.?• Mike Venable, currently the principal of Bluff Ridge Elementary, will serve as principal of Sunset Elementary.?• Dave Dau, currently the principal of Fremont Elementary, will serve as the principal of Bluff Ridge Elementary.?• Janet Sumner, currently the principal of Columbia Elementary, will serve as the principal of Wasatch Elementary.?• Brian Pead, currently an assistant principal at Northridge High School, will serve as the principal of Kaysville Elementary.
