Power out for more than 700 people in Box Elder County
BOX ELDER COUNTY — Over 1,500 were briefly without power in several Box Elder County towns, according to Rocky Mountain Power, after high winds rolled into Northern Utah Monday afternoon.
As of about 6:41 p.m., about 786 customers lost power in Garland and another 797 lost it for less than an hour in Brigham City, Corrine, Honeyville and Bear River City, according to Rocky Mountain Power’s website.
Crews have been dispatched and the causes for the outages are under investigation. Rocky Mountain Power estimates power to be restored to Garland about 10 p.m.
