Mental health incident called in at Utah Military Academy
RIVERDALE — Police responded to a mental health incident at the Utah Military Academy on Tuesday at approximately 2:00 p.m.
Riverdale chief of police Scott Brenkman knew nothing of the incident initially. He did, however, make a brief statement after making some inquiries.
According to Brenkman, a 12-year-old student suffered a mental health episode. Brenkman said no injuries were reported and no weapons were involved. The juvenile was transported to a local hospital for evaluation.
