Ogden Arts logoOGDEN – There are new beginnings with the New Year at Ogden’s First Friday Art Stroll next week.
According to a press release from Ogden City Arts, this coming First Friday Art Stroll — set for Friday from 6-9 p.m. — will feature a new destination.
“We are excited to have another addition to January’s art stroll, Atlas Tea Company, a family- owned business on Washington Blvd.,” the release said. “They will feature artwork by Emma Zaugg.”
The release also delves a bit into Zaugg’s background as an artist.
“Emma’s heart is that of a naturalist,” the release said. “Able to capture detail and definition, her art is often inspired by picturesque, pastoral subjects. Starting at a young age she mastered drawing horses, her first love. As a student, Emma broadened her innate skills adding several forms of visual media, including digital art and photography. She has poured her art and heart into her latest endeavor Atlas Tea Company, a family business, where she has developed a solid visual brand, rendering it in her distinctive style. Emma lives with her family in Utah with the goal to follow in Beatrix Potter’s footsteps, buying and preserving a farm.”
