Southbound Highway 177 briefly closed Monday evening following 2-vehicle crash

According to a Facebook post on the Kaysville Fire Department’s Facebook page, crews from Kaysville and the Layton Fire Department were summoned to an accident on southbound Highway 177 (West Davis Highway) at the 200 North exit in Kaysville.
“Five patients were evaluated on scene,” the post noted. “Two were transported to local trauma centers, one with serious injuries and one with minor injuries. Both patients were in stable condition and are expected to recover.”
The southbound lanes were briefly closed to traffic.
No further information was available as of press time.
