OGDEN — A report about a reckless driver led to a sexual assault arrest in Ogden early Wednesday morning.

According to a press release from the Ogden City Police Department, officers responded to a report of reckless driving near the 3100 block of Harrison Boulevard around midnight on Wednesday.

“Following a traffic stop, officers contacted a female juvenile (age 15) and an adult male, identified as 40-year-old Israel Ixcoy,” the release said. “During the investigation, officers took the juvenile into protective custody and returned her to her parents. According to the press release, Ixcoy was arrested and booked into Weber County Jail on charges of aggravated kidnapping, a first-degree felony; rape, a first-degree felony; and unlawful kissing of a minor, a Class A misdemeanor.

Capt. Tim Scott of the Ogden City Police Department said no further information will be released at this time.
