OGDEN — It’s no secret that the aerospace and defense industries are primed to be driving forces of the regional economy for years to come.
The Ogden School District is looking to help prepare students of today for this reality.
According to a press release from the district, Ben Lomond High School will be playing host to an aerospace and defense career exploration event Tuesday from 9-10:30 a.m. for secondary students from the Ogden School District.
“Sponsored by several local aerospace manufacturing companies, the event will introduce students to the wide range of careers available within the aerospace and defense industry,” the release said. “The event will also feature remarks from Ben Nadolski, Mayor of Ogden, and representatives from 47G, alongside numerous local aerospace and defense companies and regional schools.”

- “Learn directly from industry professionals about career options and advancement pathways
- Participate in hands-on, interactive activities
- Explore real-world applications of engineering, manufacturing, and advanced technology
- Discover how their individual strengths and interests connect to future careers”
According to the release, Tuesday’s event is intended to expose students to “cutting-edge technology and advanced manufacturing while helping students envision tangible, achievable career pathways after graduation.”
