Information session on Flock cameras set for Saturday

The Weber County League of Women Voters and Utah Civic Compact are set to hold an informational meeting at 2 p.m. on Saturday at the Pleasant Valley Branch of the Weber County Library in Washington Terrace.
Terri McCulloch, president of the Weber County League of Women Voters, told the Standard-Examiner that the information session comes at a time when there’s been a lot of conversation surrounding the use of Flock cameras.
“They’ll learn what Flock cameras are really doing because people aren’t being very honest about what they’re using them for and I don’t think some people know what they’re getting used for,” she said. “People are questioning the privacy of it and why do we need them.”
She said that the information session is free and open to the public.
