Ben lomond High to honor 2 alumni
OGDEN — The public is invited to attend Ben Lomond High School’s”Wall of Fame” assembly honoring two of the school’s alumni.
The assembly will take place at 12:30 p.m. April 12 in the Ben Lomond auditorium, 1080 9th St.
Douglas Cottle, an Ogden dentist, and Fay Stacey, founder of Stacey’s Beauty College, will be honored.
Cottle graduated in 1968 from Ben Lomond, where he competed in baseball, basketball, football, golf and track, and was a member of the National Honor Society, a news release states.
He died in September 2012 of injuries suffered in an accident during the LOTOJA bike race.
Stacey was a member of the school’s first sophomore class and graduated in 1956. She was a student body officer for three years and helped choose the school colors, song and mascot.
