OGDEN — During an abridged meeting at the Weber Center on Tuesday, the Weber County Commission approved resolutions appointing multiple members to the Western Weber County Planning Commission and the Weber County Board of Adjustment.

Cami Clontz has been reappointed to the planning commission for a new, four-year term. Meanwhile, Emily Rogers has been appointed to the body for a one-year term, ending June 2026, to fill the seat vacated by Bren Edwards.

The commission made three appointments to the adjustment board. Neal Barker has been reappointed for a new, five-year term. Marinda Kruitbosch Espiritu and Lewis Decker were also appointed amid the vacancies left by Jannette Borklund and Laura Warburton. Decker will serve as an alternate.

Among the approved consent items was an extension to a contract between the county and the State of Utah’s Division of Outdoor Recreation for wayfinding signage in the Ogden Valley. The roughly $81,000 contract has been amended to end on Sept. 30; it was originally slated to terminate June 30. The body also approved new business licenses, purchase orders totaling just over $12,000 and warrants in the amount of $1.155 million.

The Weber County Commission meets weekly at the Weber Center. Meetings are viewable online via the county’s YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/@webercountyutah/.

Starting at $4.32/week.
