onfidence in the Obama Administration has for many people reached zero. How did we arrive at this point? Some of us started at near zero. Others thought that maybe it would work out. Change would be good, let’s give him a chance. ?

Criticism of Obama has nothing to do with race and everything to do with actions of his administration. There are far more fair-minded Americans inclined to be supportive of him than there are who see race as a disqualifier. His supporters, along with much of the major media, were enthusiastic and believed he represented a change for the good in America. ?During the campaign Obama had explained away troubling associations; his longtime pastor was just a “crazy uncle” that everyone has in their family. His associate, former terrorist Bill Ayers, was just another guy in the neighborhood. ?Shortly after the election things started backing up; Cabinet appointments couldn’t pass the “smell test,”he kept hanging on to the”blame card,” appointed some 32 “czars,” rescinded everything “Bush,” renamed terrorists, fired CEOs, and upped the ante in takeovers and bailouts. He even publicly chastised an exemplary police office in favor of his friend, the Harvard professor, then smoothed it all over with a beer with the boys. Overseas, where he is adored, he was bowing to a prince and apologizing to the world for America’s faults.?Back home he wasn’t being helped by his own party leaders; Vice President Joe Biden was methodically putting his foot in his mouth, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi had jumped the CIA about waterboarding again but couldn’t remember what she didn’t know and when she didn’t know it. The list goes on; pushing “break-the-bank” programs with no real effort to take advantage of our own resources to boost employment and economic gain.?It has become clear that the current administration, heavily infused with left-wing liberals, is not to be trusted. As respected columnist Charles Krauthammer said recently about Obama, “Watch what he does, not what he says.” Good advice that we must take to heart for the next three years.?It’s time the Obama administration made a course correction and started working immediately on an economic impetus that will create jobs and stimulate the economy. For starters, its members could ask themselves; what commodity do we import billions of dollars worth each month that lies beneath our feet and off our shores? Candidate Obama said “if we can put a man on the moon, you can’t tell me we can’t burn clean coal!” ?Were these just words like the dozens of promises he made to get elected? Before America’s pride at electing Obama as president turns to shame, he needs to do something and do it soon! Start a “fast-track” initiative on energy and economic growth. Just demonstrating that his administration is serious about growing the economy by other means than government jobs will create a huge upswing in American confidence; doing it may very well save our economy, his administration and his party, all of which are on a downward spiral.?The administration may not realize it and certainly their party leaders and advisers don’t, but many of the outspoken “Joe and Jill Citizens” have been saying this to you at Town Hall meetings and Tea Parties. ?Only the hubris of an oversized ego will prevent the president from listening and acting.?You would think that Obama could see the handwriting on the wall, and maybe he can, but his arrogance won’t let him change. He believes he’s right and will go down with the ship. ?Before that happens there will be a lot of reasonable Democrats in Congress who change their minds about “change” and a lot of stiff-necked liberals who’ll be out of work.?
