HUNTSVILLE — After receiving a heavy dose of snow, Snowbasin is fully operable, with its complete array of 12 lifts operating.

“The snow gods have delivered, bringing 17 inches of new snow to Snowbasin Resort!” said Kayla McFarland, a resort spokesperson.

Nordic Valley, the Eden-area resort, is similarly reporting that all of its trails are open.

A mid-week storm dumped 17 inches of white stuff on Snowbasin, allowing it to open the last of its 12 lifts that hadn’t yet started operation. More snow fell at Snowbasin during the 24-hour period that included the storm than at any other Utah resort, according to McFarland.

Powder Mountain, the third Weber County-based resort, is also open.
