The male bicyclist was crossing at the intersection of 1050 East and U.S. 89 at about 8:30 p.m. when he collided with a westbound vehicle, South Ogden Police Sgt. Scott Christensen said Tuesday.

The bicyclist was dead at the scene. The male driver of the vehicle remained at the crash site and was cooperative, he said. “There are no signs of impairment,” he said.

Christensen said police are interviewing witnesses and studying the crash scene to better determine what happened.

The bicyclist’s name was withheld pending notification of relatives.
