WSU to host MLK Jr. breakfast, unity march Monday

On Monday, Weber State University is set to hold the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Breakfast and Unity March in conjunction with the Project Success Coalition, Ogden City Marshall White and the Ogden NAACP.
“The breakfast will be held at the Ogden Union Station and begins at 9 a.m.,” an announcement on the WSU website said. “The breakfast is free and open to the public and donations are accepted. Following the breakfast is a commemorative March to the Ogden Amphitheater where there will be speakers with messages of love, peace and hope from students, community and other leaders.”
The keynote speaker will be Denny Johnson, senior director of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. corporate headquarters in Baltimore.
The event will run through 11 a.m.
