Letter: Rep. Lesser deserves support for her efforts
Barry Short had an informative letter to the editor entitled “time to abolish Utah’s grocery tax”. In that letter he wrote: “It is truly a fine example of government braking our legs, then handing us a crutch and expecting our gratitude for their largesse.”
Dr. Rosemary Lesser is a representative in the Utah House of Representatives and she has introduced Legislation to remove the sales tax on food. She has told me that there is a lot of behind the scenes work for complex bills like eliminating the sales tax on food. We can help Representative Lesser with our votes.
Anyone living within House District 10 should seriously consider giving her their vote.
