In response to Mr. Water’s letter to the editor on November 18th, you have voiced my exact concerns. I live above Harrison Blvd and have to travel from 32nd going north every day. Not only does this “genius idea” from whom (the city, UTA, etc.) with no input from the home owners or existing businesses bottleneck traffic, it is a huge accident waiting to happen to all of the kids attending the middle school. To make matters worse motorists heading south cannot make a left hand turn at the intersection of Harrison and 32nd Street. What’s next? These school kids hopping on UTA buses in front of the school and getting lost and/or hurt? Not what I would have voted for had I been given the option.
