Letter: A thought to Gov. Cox and staff

Apr 30, 2022

Our Great Salt Lake years ago was overflown. The gov at the time installed two pumps and 2 12 cylinder diesel engines at Little Mountain and pumped water from the lake into the desert and it worked. Why not take the pumps and engines to some point in California and pump water to our Great Salt Lake using sea water? Run a pipeline along Interstate 80 through Reno and Elko to Wendover. We could save all our runoff water from going into the lake, and keep it in our reservoirs.
