Letter: Thanks to staff in nursing homes, assisted living facilities
We want you to know that, during this difficult time of pandemic-related challenges, we’ve seen you work harder and longer hours. We appreciate how you’ve adapted your activities, your schedules, and your mindset to help residents that have been lonely, isolated, and fearful. We know you mourn when a resident passes and cheer when one overcomes this virus that has become a part of our daily lives. We see your determination as you mask up, gown up, and keep going to serve vulnerable people that need you in the most important, basic ways. We thank you for your courage, kindness, and creativity at a time when you are exhausted and overwhelmed. Thank you for all you do for the residents under your care.
Sincerely,
