I support Dave Graf for Ogden City Council, District 4 Seat. I have known Dave for a number of years and find him to be a thoughtful and active listener, with a keen ability to ask probing questions to get to the heart of the matter or issue. He is honest, gracious to admit when he doesn’t have the answer to a question, and provides the assurance that he will find out the answer and get back to you. And he does!

Dave has shown extraordinary commitment through his volunteerism to get to know Ogden. Volunteering for Weber Pathways, the GOAL Foundation, and the Ogden City Planning Commission has provided him with varied insights about and experiences with Ogden and its people. Having taught at Weber State, he has found his experience engaging with students an “inspiration for the future.” As an outdoor enthusiast, one of Dave’s goals as Ogden City Council candidate is to enhance our quality of life through improved parks, trails, and rivers. These are all things we all love about Ogden! As an avid bicyclist and walker, he recognizes the importance of safe streets and sidewalks. As a former business owner, Dave recognizes the importance and impact that local businesses bring to the vitality and robustness of a community. Dave, as an advocate for cleaner air and for sustainability, supports viable renewable energy options and our growing public transportation system. His 7+ years on the Ogden City Planning Commission (with 2 years as Chair) has helped him to recognize and understand the need for a broad spectrum of housing options, including those for low and moderate income earners.
