It is local election time and now is when we all get to have our voices heard… so get out and vote, vote, vote.

I am writing to show my support for Ben Nadolski as the next Mayor of Ogden City. I won’t be writing about what he believes or what his answers may be for those hot topics we all like to talk about. I am a resident of Ogden, I own small businesses in downtown, and my wife and I have raised our two sons here. I am here to say I am voting for him as the one I believe will represent Ogden in a manner I will be proud of.

His campaign opening line is: “Building Our Community by Investing in People”. He found the perfect saying because it is who Ben is, it isn’t a buzz phrase that is meant to be timely or said to react to current situations in our government, it is Ben. He thrives on people, their interactions, and their sense of community. He has a great ability to connect with people of all walks of life, from different backgrounds, and from different viewpoints.

Ben has an infectious smile and is always looking for the positive of every situation. When those positives are hard to find I have witnessed his ability to be compassionate in the hardest of situations. Ben is at his best when he is placed in a difficult situation, he can remain calm and levelheaded and always finds the correct people to get involved to help.

I am casting my vote for him because I trust that he will stay true to who he is when he is elected as the next Mayor of Ogden.
