To the great relief of many of us, Donald Trump was never able to gain the support of what he called “the coastal elites”, both East and West. His MAGA-land support was always in Middle America and the South.

But liberals be warned, there is a ticking timebomb embedded in our constitution that could detonate in his favor. If neither presidential candidate received the 270 electoral votes needed to win, the election would be decided in the House of Representatives with each state having one vote. Incredibly, Utah with its four million residents, would have the same voting power as California with its forty million. Could anything be more undemocratic?

There are 26 red Republican states. If Donald Trump ran the table, God forbid, he could be behind bars in an orange jumpsuit and still win. Impossible? Not really.
